but why you don't want to keep it at the top of the page, it'd be easier, no need to keep shifting it.

if you don't want ppl to know, you can put some innocuous post and date it in the far future (so it always shows up on top), then put either (1) an invisible counter or (2) a counter with the background colour and digit colour same as your blog background colour then ppl can't see liao.....

sounds very complicated hor?

it doesn't, so long as you don't put the date of the entry as too recent. i think you know what i mean.....
